Local Clothes
The local clothes of Kadirli Region are based on Turkmen Clothing. Women's clothing consists of Turkmen women's clothing. Turkmen women wear three skirts, a bodysuit, a blue brocade vest and a jacket. A red fez with gold thread is worn, gold is lined around the edge of the fez, a silk purple refi is wrapped around the top, and a tulle called two leather shesh is tied underneath. As for the skirts, they wear a poskal made of red satin with the ends turned up. Farmers wear a type of edik called foskon up to their knees. These clothes are rarely seen today. Among these, shalwar is worn by many people to this day.
